At BRAE Therapi Company, we use standard assessment tools like; Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skill: (ABLLS), Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program: VB-MAPP for Speech and Language Development and other screening tools such as; M-CHAT-R, ASDS and many more to ascertain the development stage of a child or teenager on spectrum before intervention. This development stage covers four major domains (social interaction, communication skills, self-management and cognitive (academic). As well as the child learning method, and the level of sensory needs.
The main function of this service is to provide the family and teaching staff with an assessment of the learner’s strengths and areas of need based direct observation and interaction with the learner’s caregivers (via questionnaire). Also, It helps with detailed information needed to plan a ‘Treatment Plan’ or ‘Individualize Educational Plan’ specific to a client’s need
